Sr. Pastor


Pastor Bruce is now entering his 21 st year as senior Pastor at Evangel Pentecostal Church along with his Lovely wife Pat Schwindt. Pastor Bruce has a deep passion to see people come into relationship with Christ, and further see them discipled into the image of Christ. Pastor Bruce is a firm believer in the word of God being preached in purity as well as practiced. Also Pastor Bruce has a strong background in music, which benefits our congregation with a deep and personal worship time that touches believers of every age.
  

Visitation Pastor


Pastor Scott Bacon is the Visitation Pastor at Evangel church and has served as this congregation for the past 17yrs. It has been said about Pastor Scott that he is either related to or knows every person in Brantford. This is a testament to the character and person of Pastor Scott. His passion is to meet people where they are and to see them develop into what God has called them to be. His ministry around the coffee table in many homes has been a comfort to many.


Youth Pastor

Pastor Dan has been the Youth Pastor at Evangel for 4.5 yrs. Affectionately known as P.d Pastor Dan is deeply committed to seeing young people saved, transformed, committed and released to what God has called them to do. Pastor Dan is a big believer in raising up a generation of young people who are biblically literate. A favorite quote of Pastor Dan’s is “You are the instrument God wants to play worship through for all the world to see, let him make music through you!”

Young Adults Pastor

Pastor Paul has served as Pastor to Genesis young adults for the past 3yrs. and is committed to discipleship. Pastor Paul even has study groups in his own home. Passion for Jesus and His people is very obvious to everyone who see’s his smile. A deep hunger for revival and the word of God is the driving force behind Pastor Paul’s actions.

Jr. High Pastor

Pastor Jamie has just moved on to staff this past June/ 2004 previously Pastor Jamie served as a youth assistant to Pastor Dan for the past 4 yrs. A gifted musician who used to travel in a local band called esoteric, Pastor Jamie is a fun exciting young man with a passion to see Jr. Hi’s come into relationship with Jesus. His unique appeal to this generation has become very important to the lives of Jr. Hi’s at Evangel Pentecostal church.

Worship Leader


Vicki Stewart has been the worship leader at Evangel Church for the past 4yrs. Her involvement and Love of Music has been a life long passion. Vicki is very gifted in inviting others to share in the passion of Worship. As well she is a very accomplished solo artist, with many featured performances in the singing Christmas tree, which is an annual event at Evangel Church.


Office Administrative Assistant


Ruth has been serving evangel for 23 years. Ruth always has a smile and never kicks you out of her office even if she is very…very …busy. She is also the only one who knows where everything in the church can be found. Ruth has a deep heart for missions and has even traveled with her husband Barry to the Ukraine to work with orphanages in need.


Office Secretary


Lynda has served Evangel for 13 years. Lynda always has time for people especially children. She has been known to hand out a cookie or two along the way. Lynda’s hard work keep’s the Evangel congregation well informed and prepared for upcoming events. If you have ever been sick you may have even received a little note from Lynda, this is just a small glimpse of her heart for people.

Church Custodian


Cliff as he is affectionately called makes sure that the church looks like the church. His wonderful heart of servitude makes what some might consider a job a ministry to the whole body. Cliff is a passionate follower of Jesus and hungers to see more people come to know his savior in a more personal manner.
