Some Why's Of Worship

 

- Why Do We Have Audible Praise Unto God?

¹ Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! (Psalms 103:1)

 

²⁴So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: "Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,
(Acts 4:24)

¹ I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalms 34:1)

 

- Why Do We Lift our Hands?

 

⁴Thus I will bless You while I live;  I will lift up my hands in Your name. (Psalm 63:4)

 

²Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the LORD. (Psalm 134:2)

 

⁸ I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (1 Timothy 2:8)

 

- Why Do We Clap Our Hands?

 

¹ Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! (Psalms 47:1)

 

- Why Do We Stand When We Sing?

- Why Do We Have This Type of Worship?

 

²³But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. ²⁴God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:23-24)
